Lunch...No Translation. Eating Street Food in Shanghai, China.

Shanghai Street Food on Vimeo

My wife Diane and I eat Shanghai's wild and delectable street food. Diane is the star of this video. Watch this Southern California Valley girl navigate the deep waters of Shanghai's street food stalls. Diane surprises more than a few of the locals and vendors with her selections. She can't even speak a lick of Chinese but that doesn't stop her from enthusiastically diving in.

Have fun!

Your wife seems like a neat person. ^_^
Made me hungry watching this!
I always think it's cool watching noodles being made, but have only ever seen it on video It would be neat to see them being made in person. I can believe how inexpensive your food was!

I just got back from Shanghai and was similarly taken with the street food scene. It's an amazing feeling when you first take to the streets and realize so much is going on right under your nose.

Alas, my stomach isn't all that robust. So I limited myself to watching. Kudos to your wife for being way more adventurous than I ever could be.

You've inspired me to push up posting my street-vendor-celebration photo survey to my blog.

The chinese have been making noodles one thousand years (or more!) before the Italians. So cool to watch the noodles made by hand – I love that. Wish some one would teach me how...
You are my aspiration , I have few blogs and rarely run out from to post.
