Chino and the Man!

In case you're wondering, I'm the Chino and Gustavo's the Man. Chino is Spanish for Chinese. I know this because I asked a Mexican! Which Mexican? The only Mexican who has all the answers I'm looking for — Gustavo Arellano. In fact, he wrote the book on it called, appropriately, ¡Ask a Mexican!

You may recall, he generously volunteered to rehab my traumatized stomach from bad Mexican chapulines and huitlacoche by having me try the "good stuff". We share this tale of gustatory redemption with Evan Kleiman on her Good Food show.
