Andrew Zimmern, Ben Ford, Eddie Lin & Head Cheese. How Bizarre! The Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods show in LA.
Behind the scenes at Bizarre Foods while shooting at Ford's Filling Station.
Bizarre Foods fans, Andrew Zimmern is in town shooting the Los Angeles episode of his number one rated Travel Channel show.
I was bestowed the bizarre honor of being Andrew Zimmern's—or the AZ, as I like to call him—dining companion for a day. We devoured a freakish feast at Ford's Filling Station, sampled a sordid selection of strange sorbets and ice creams at Scoops then finally binged on bugs at Typhoon.
You would not believe what Andrew and I put in our mouths. Or maybe you would. Details to come.

I have just stumbled upon your blog. I love the clean design and fantastic photos. I am a blogger myself and always thought that design was key and you have certainly captured that! There are so many food blogs out there these days and being different to all the others is key. I have just started www.ifoods.tv which is a website for chefs, foodies and food bloggers to hand out, share recipes, photos and videos. When i was blogging I always thought i should be getting more traffic as my blog was getting lost in the masses of stuff out there so my new site is aimed at giving food bloggers and chefs a bigger platform! Hope you enjoy it and keep up the good writing and design here! I have now bookmarked you so will be regular reader, Cheers!
You can call a few days ahead and special order it. These special dishes were done for Andrew Zimmern but can also be made for anyone who reserves these items. I know of other people who had these dishes after the show aired. Bring a big group with you because it is a lot of food! Good luck and good eating!
