Hard Rock's Haggis Burger!

So I saw this drool-worthy, moist-making photo of Hard Rock Cafe's insanely bad ass haggis burger when I was reading a Daily Meal post. Yes, you read that right—a burger made with haggis!!!

What is haggis? Let's ask Wikipedia, philistine!

Wikipedia says haggis is: a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, traditionally encased in the animal's stomach.

If you're like me, you've been inundated by burgers lately: gourmet, fast food, fast casual, Shake Shack is comin'!!!, In-N-Out rules!, No! Five Guys is better!, May is Burger Month, foie gras burgers, ramen burgers, custom burgers, and on and on with the burger madness!

But now, at last, there is a burger with guts. Literally! It's the Hard Rock Haggis Burger!

Hard Rock Cafe kicked off their first ever World Burger Tour on May 1 with the promotion going until the end of June. During this time you can go on a tour of the world via your mouth by devouring limited-time, specialty burgers like Sweet & Sour Burger, Schnitzel Burger, Lancashire Hot Pot Burger, Chamorro Burger, Bosphorus Burger, Banh Mi Burger, Tandoori Spiced Chicken Burger, Cuban Burger, even a Reuben Burger grilled up at Yankee Stadium.

Those are all nice and all, but the Haggis Burger like Highlander is the baddest of the burger bunch! And, as we all know, THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE badass burger!!! This burger inspired by the legendary Scottish delicacy features "a certified Angus beef patty topped with savory haggis, melted Monterey Jack cheese, golden turnip frazzles and a whisky maple glaze."

FYI, this sheep's pluck bad boy burger is only available in Boston. At least there's something to console all those Patriots fans 'cause this burger ain't deflated. Just look at it, know what I'm sayin'!
