May the Force and jumbo box of popcorn be with you!

Volunteers from the 501st Legion, an organization dedicated to flying the Star Wars freak flag proudly high by donning screen accurate versions of the classic sci-fi series' myriad of costumes, were represented in full force last night at the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Famous Star Wars characters from Princess Leia Organa to a variety of R2 units mingled with the crowd in the lobby of Westlake Village Cinépolis Luxury Theatre.

Kids of all ages (ahem, like me) took Instagrams with the R2s and tried to arm wrestle the Stormtrooper dude. The excitement was thick in the air and the energy electric as people waited in the lobby for the most anticipated film of all time.

There's nothing like droid racing in a theatre lobby!

Other options while waiting for the movie to start at Cinépolis Luxury Theatre locations are the gourmet food and drinks. Christa Carretero, Cinépolis' Culinary Marketing Manager, is the head honcho for all the meals experienced at the fancier theatres. A full-bar, also in the lobby, can assist in recreating that Mos Eisley Cantina scene you've always fantasized about.

From now until supplies run out, Cinépolis offers a Limited Edition Poster Package for sale.

· Two 44 oz. Limited Edition Star Wars cups with Coke product of the guest’s choice
· One 130 oz. Limited Edition metallic Star Wars popcorn tin with butter popcorn
· One Limited Edition satin coated 18x24 film poster

If you want to hang with the 501st at the Cinépolis theatres in Westlake Village or Pico Rivera, they'll be there each night at about 8 pm from now until Saturday, Dec. 19. 501st will not be at any other locations. However, the poster package will be available for purchase at all Cinépolis theatres.
